Centred on spinal mobility and core control, Mat Pilates is derived from the basic principles of Pilates. But by combining fluid, fast-paced movements with the classical method, you can achieve an effective full body workout that improves posture, mobility and core strength, as well as reducing your risk of injury or discomfort in both sport and everyday life.

Dynamic Bodyweight Pilates

If you’ve done Mat Pilates before, this isn’t it. This is much more fluid, dynamic and challenging. Using only your bodyweight and a few simple props, this Mat and floor-based session combines Pilates moves with elements from other workouts including strength & conditioning, KinStretch and bodyweight training to develop postural alignment, strength, endurance and muscular balance for the real world.

Dynamic Reformer Pilates

Think of it as Pilates taken to the next level. Dynamic Reformer Pilates offers all the postural and mobility benefits of traditional Pilates and the same focus on form, control and core strength. But it also incorporates more functional exercises in an intense, dynamic full-body workout that increases the intensity and challenge, and delivers greater conditioning and muscle toning benefits.

Don’t confuse flexibility and mobility. Flexibility is about passively lengthening muscles, while mobility actively enables a joint to move through its full range of motion without impingement or discomfort. For us, with our focus on quality of movement, the latter is way more valuable as gives our bodies the strength and control to move safely, fluidly and powerfully through every aspect of our lives.
